Bringing a safe climate future forward: ATA forum at the Sustainable Living Festival

As part of the Sustainable Living Festival the Alternative Technology Association is presenting the feature forum Bringing a safe climate future forward.

Climate change is without doubt the defining challenge of our generation, a challenge which requires action, commitment and innovation by all sectors of society to avoid the most dangerous impacts to our landscapes, our ecosystems, our economy and the choice of where we live.

What will a sustainable 2020 Australia look like and how do we get there? What sustainable technologies have already been developed and what can we expect in the next 10 years. How do we build sustainable communities? And what policies do we need in place to build resilience to climate change.

Five expert speakers from a range of backgrounds (sustainable technology, community development, architecture, water managment and policy) will discuss what a sustainable 2020 Australia should look like and how we can get there. Caroline Bayliss, Director of Global Sustainability at RMIT.

MC: Caroline BaylissCaroline is Director of Global Sustainability at RMIT University in Melbourne. In this role, Caroline works across a broad constituency, both within and outside RMIT. She has particular expertise in relation to sustainability assessments, sustainability indicators, sustainability and Triple Bottom Line reporting and sustainable procurement. Caroline is Deputy Director of the United Nations Global Compact Cities Programme. She is also a Director of the Voluntary Carbon Markets Association Limited, Director and Company Secretary of Eco-Buy Limited and member of the Lake Condah Sustainable Development Project Leadership Group.

Dr Mark Diesendorf teaches, researches and consults in the interdisciplinary fields of sustainable energy, sustainable urban transport, theory of sustainability, ecological economics, and practical processes by which government, business and other organisations can achieve ecologically sustainable and socially just development. Prior to joining the Institute of Environmental Studies in June 2004 he was senior lecturer in Human Ecology at the Australian National University (1994-1996), then Professor of Environmental Science and Founding Director of the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology Sydney (1996-2001), and then Director of the private consultancy Sustainability Centre Pty Ltd (2001-2007).

Ian Porter
Ian Porter is the CEO at Alternative Technology Association (ATA), Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisation working to support Australian households to live more sustainably, and a Director of GreenFleet. Prior to joining the ATA, Ian Porter was the Executive Director of Sustainability Policy with the Victorian Government, and responsible for the landmark policy documents Victorian Greenhouse Strategy (2002) and the Greenhouse Challenge for Energy (2004). In 2007, he moved to the Nous Group where he led the climate change department, working with the public and private sector to develop policy and respond to major challenges in the fields of climate change and energy.

Obama Orders 1 Million US Troops To “Prepare For Civil War”

Russian Military Analysts are reporting to Prime Minister Putin today that US President Barack Obama has issued orders to his Northern Command’s (USNORTHCOM) top leader, US Air Force General Gene Renuart, to “begin immediately” increasing his military forces to 1 million troops by January 30, 2010, in what these reports warn is an expected outbreak of civil war within the United States before the end of winter.

According to these reports, Obama has had over these past weeks “numerous” meetings with his war council about how best to manage the expected implosion of his Nations banking system while at the same time attempting to keep the United States military hegemony over the World in what Russian Military Analysts state is a “last ditch gambit” whose success is “far from certain”.

And to Obama’s “last ditch gambit”, these reports continue, he is to announce in a nationwide address to his people this coming week that he is going to expand the level of US Military Forces in Afghanistan by tens of thousands of troops, while at the same time using the deployment of these soldiers as a “cover” for returning to the United States over 200,000 additional American soldiers from the over 800 bases in over 39 countries they have stationed around the Globe bringing the level of these forces in America to over 1 million, a number the US Military believes will be able to contain the “explosion of violence” expected to roil these peoples when they learn their economy has been bankrupted.

These reports further state that at the same time Obama will be attempting to keep his Nation from violent disintegration, the tens of thousands of additional troops he will send to Afghanistan are to be ordered to Kandahar where the Americans and their NATO allies will begin their final attempt to secure their TAPI (Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India) pipeline, which without the Western Nations, due to their grave lack of alternative energy resources, and being cut off from these vast Central Asian supplies (which both Russia and China are seeking to insure), are warned will totally collapse.

Making the American’s (and by extension the West’s) situation even worse are new reports coming from the International Energy Agency stating that “under pressure” from the US government they have been “deliberately underplaying” a looming Global oil shortage for fear of triggering panic buying and raising the Americans fear over the end of oil supremacy because it would threaten their power over access to our World’s last remaining oil resources.

To the scariest “end game” maneuvers being made by Obama, in his attempt to protect Americas Global hegemony, is his record shattering move in plunging the United States $3.5 Trillion further into debt, and which raises the total amount owed by the United States, to its citizens and the World, to the unprecedented height of over $106 Trillion.

So alarming has Obama’s actions become (especially since they are being imitated by all of the Western powers) that the  managing-director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Dominique Strauss-Kahn, warned this past week that the “stimulus actions” of the West (which in essence is nothing more than the printing of money with nothing to back it up) has now become a “threat to democracy” as millions of people are expected to erupt in violence against their governments over the theft of their money and their futures.

Most unfortunately for the American people though is that this IMF warning fell on “deaf ears” in the United States with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President, James Bullard, saying this week that the US would continue its “stimulus actions” because they “would give more flexibility to US policymakers”, a most absurd statement especially when viewed in the light of the unprecedented debt payments currently looming over the American economy they have no ability whatsoever to pay.

To the ability of the West’s banking giants to save their Nation’s economies, even worse news came this week with the US ratings giant Standards & Poors issuing a warning that “every single bank in Japan, the US, Germany, Spain, and Italy included in S&P’s list of 45 Global lenders remain unsafe”, a warning which then lead to one of Europe’s largest banks, Société Générale,  warning its clients to prepare for a “total Global Economic Collapse”.

To the fears of Obama over the United States erupting into civil war once the full extent of the rape and pillaging of these peoples by their banks and government becomes known to them, grim evidence now shows the likelihood of this occurring much sooner than later, especially in new poll figures showing that Obama’s approval rating among white Americans has now fallen to 39%. A number made more significant when one realizes that the white population of the United States comprises 74% of their estimated 398 million citizens, or put more ominously in these reports as “over 220 million American people armed to the teeth and ready to explode”.

And so fearful has the white population of the United States become that upon the election of Obama to the Presidency he was named as the “Gun Salesman of the Year” by the Outdoor Wire, the US’s largest daily electronic news service for the outdoor industry, who report “panic buying” of weapons and ammunition by those fearful of the destruction of their country at the hands of man they believe is not even an American citizen and had been foisted upon them by their elite classes seeking to enslave them.

Though the coming civil war in the United States is being virtually ignored by their propaganda media, the same cannot be said of Russia, where leading Russian political analyst, Professor Igor Panarin has long warned that the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the US is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.

Professor Igor Panarin further stated in his warning that “the US Dollar is not secured by anything. The country’s foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse.”

What remains to be seen, and these reports do not speculate upon, is if the citizen-soldiers of the United States will fire upon and kill their fellow countrymen during the coming conflict, but if history is to be our guide clearly shows this will be the case as the once great American Nation continues its headlong plunge into the abyss of history. May God have mercy upon all of them.

Submission for the Victorian Government Climate

The aim of our association is to develop and implement technology that does not pollute
the environment and enables human beings to be as independent as possible from the
corporate domination of our energy and fuel supply. We focus on developing practical,
grass roots solutions to a range of environmental issues. Our membership consists of
people from a variety of fields, including Engineers (Chemical, Civil, Electrical, etc.),
Inventors, Mechanics, Physicists, Scientists and Corporate Managers. As such, we have
a wide range of views, and are able to find synergies across a large range of technologies.
Unlike many “think tanks” we are not controlled by current and former CEOs of oil
companies, coal mines, etc., nor do we have a vested interest in any particular
technology.

Key Points:
1. Energy efficiency in existing transport and stationary energy systems is extremely
poor.

2. Technologies already exist that can dramatically improve the efficiency of
production of electricity in power stations, and fuel efficiency in vehicles, which
in Australia are responsible for two-thirds of our production of greenhouse gases.

3. If implemented these technologies would easily allow Australia (and the World)
to meet Kyoto Greenhouse Gas Emission targets, plus improve the standard of
living of all Australians, with reduced health impacts, less environmental impacts,
improved energy security, etc.

4. Technologies have not been implemented as they conflict with business models of
established corporations and governments.

5. Policy changes will be required in order to encourage changes in business models
of both corporations and governments, and to support large changes in
employment. Now is the perfect time to implement this in the vehicle industry;
there have already been massive layoffs locally in Geelong with Ford, and in the
USA internationally with GM, for example. With the impending introduction of
the CPRS improvements in the stationary energy arena are also ripe.

6. Investment in education, research and development will also be required;
conventional education has often ignored the possibilities of new technologies and
scientific learnings. Many Engineers and Scientists have been incorrectly taught
that some technologies are impossible, and even in the most prestigious
Universities are still being taught theories proven to be incorrect over a century
ago with the advent of quantum mechanics.       read more

Rockefeller.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Drug-industry investigators have
uncovered documents exposing an international drug ring,
operating from New York City, is behind the H1N1 swine flu
fright and vaccination preparations.

Dr. Leonard G. Horowitz and Sherri Kane, an investigative
journalist, have released evidence in legal affidavits that
leaders of a private global biotechnology “trust”
are behind the pandemic flu, including its origin and
alleged prevention via vaccinations. Their documents, being
sent by attorneys to the FBI this week, evidence
industrialists are operating a crime ring within the
“Partnership for New York City” (PNYC), and are
behind the pandemic’s
creation, media persuasions, vaccination preparations, and
health official promotions.

“David Rockefeller’s trust, that engages several
powerful partners on Wall Street, including media moguls
Ruppert Murdock, Morton Zuckerman, Thomas Glocer, and former
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve
Bank of New York, Jerry Speyer, are implicated in advancing
global genocide,” Dr. Horowitz wrote to FBI directors.

“This ‘partnership’ controls biotechnology
research and development globally. Health commerce
internationally is also controlled virtually entirely by
this trust that also exercises near complete control over
mainstream media to promote/propagandize its products and
services for the drug cartel’s organized crime. This
trust, in essence, makes or breaks medical and natural
healing markets, primarily through the mass media companies
and propaganda it wields for social engineering and market
building,” Dr. Horowitz wrote.

Among the revelations from the Horowitz-Kane research are
those linking Larry Silverstein of Silverstein Properties,
Inc., and the 9-11 terrorist attacks, to the drug
cartel’s geopolitical, economic, and population
reduction activities. Mr. Silverstein, leaser of the World
Trade Center who authorized to have Building-7
“pulled” [detonated] is a chief suspect in the
“9-11 truth” investigation. Silverstein is
currently landlord and co-partner in the biotechnology trust
founded by David Rockefeller and implicated by these new
discoveries.

Given the unprecedented nature and urgency of these
findings, Dr. Horowitz has posted his affidavit for public
review on FLUscam.com, hoping wide spread dissemination will
prompt governments worldwide to cease mass vaccination
preparations to avoid becoming accessories.

“The last time I contacted the FBI I warned them about
the impending anthrax attacks one week before the first
mailings were announced in the press,” Dr. Horowitz recalled.
“It took them 6 months to respond. When they did, they
made me a suspect in the mailings. This time I am warning
the Justice Department a month before the deadliest genocide
in history. I’m praying they’ll take kindly to my appeal for a PNYC

investigation, and Court-ordered
injunction, to stop the vaccinations for public protection.

U.S. JUDGE RULES AGAINST COMPULSORY VACCINATION / COURT DOCUMENT

30 years after compulsory vaccination became US Law:
US Court issues an injunction to stop it and to hold the the government and drug companies responsible for reactions.
A Preliminary Injunction to stop mandatory vaccinations has been issued in the United States District Court of New Jersey.
This comes after a federal lawsuit opposing forced vaccines was filed in that court by Tim Vawter, pro se attorney, on July 31st with the federal government as defendant.
When the judge signs the Preliminary Injunction, it will stop the federal government from forcing anyone in any state to take flu vaccine against their will. It will also prevent a state or local government from forcibly vaccinating anyone, and forbid any person who is not vaccinated from being denied any services or constitutional rights.
Vawter’s filings included a Complaint, and several pages of evidentiary Exhibits. Vawter’s legal papers have been written not only for filing in federal
court, but additionally so they can be looked at by activists around the world for ideas on filing lawsuits in their own countries to help stop forced vaccinations.
Vawter believes that as the truth of the dangers of flu vaccines continues to become known, banning the forced use of them will eventually succeed on a worldwide basis. He cautions people to avoid fear and keep themselves focused on the task of blocking forced vaccination. Preliminary Injunction will immediately halt mandatory vaccinations in the U.S.
The Court, having heard the Motion for Preliminary Injunction and read the papers in its support, states in the Preliminary Injunction that it appears the federal government has engaged in some amount of negligence with regards to failure to properly investigate the safety of the flu vaccines scheduled for use in late 2009-2010, and the evidence submitted does warrant a more thorough investigation into the safety of the flu vaccines.
The Court ordered that the government shall be forbidden from forcing any person to be required to take any influenza vaccination against that person’s free will and free choice. The government will not allow any state or local government, or any party, to force any person to be required to take any influenza vaccination against that person’s free will and free choice.
U.S. government sued for gross negligence and violation of the Constitution
In his Cause of Action, Vawter charged that the federal government has engaged in gross negligence by funding and promoting flu vaccines that are proven to be dangerous and manufactured with little oversight. The vaccines scheduled for use in late 2009 and 2010 contain heavy metals including thimerosal mercury, which have been proven to cause autism in children with lowered immune systems, and other dangerous and toxic ingredients.
The federal government has stated it will force these flu vaccines onto the American public against their will, under a document signed by Health and
Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
He further charged that the vaccine makers stand to earn billions of dollars selling vaccines, and are already spending tens of millions advertising a “Phase 6 Pandemic” that the evidence shows does not really exist.
The federal government has not required the World Health Organization (WHO) to show evidence of such a pandemic. There has been no collection of facts, sworn testimony, witnesses being questioned, hearings being held, or lie detector tests being given when preposterous statements have been made.
The WHO declared a massive “Phase 6 Influenza Pandemic”, even though only a few hundred people worldwide had so far died of this swine flu virus, and
when far more people die each year of regular flu.
Vawter noted there is a preponderance of evidence to show that the federal government so poorly trained its employees that they eagerly agreed with the unsubstantiated claims of the WHO in the face of evidence to the contrary.
Forced vaccination would violate the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution by allowing the government to enter homes and force people to
be vaccinated, or to forcibly remove people to another location for vaccination.
It would also violate Fifth Amendment Constitutional rights by depriving people of liberty without due process of law.
Vawter charged that the federal government has engaged in gross negligence by failing to properly investigate factual evidence submitted by esteemed medical professions over many years which proves flu vaccines have caused serious damage to people.
The CDC has stated that thimerosal mercury is being used in the new flu vaccines being prepared.
The government has failed to investigate profiteering.. Billions of dollars in vaccine sales can cause organizations to falsify threats so as to cause unwarranted public hysteria leading to forced vaccinations.
The government is guilty of gross negligence because its employees failed to properly investigate the release of a case of live swine flu virus. One of the main companies the government deals with, Baxter Vaccines, was apparently involved in the transporting of live bird flu virus that was released on a public train earlier this year.
A lab technician with the Swiss National Center for Influenza in Geneva had traveled to Zurich to collect eight ampoules, five of which were filled with the H1N1 swine flu virus. However, failure of the dry ice in their container allowed pressure to build up, and the ampoules exploded as the train was pulling into a
station.
The highly reputable UK newspaper “the Telegraph” reported on July 2nd that flu vaccines tested on homeless people caused twenty-one of them to die.
Vawter charged there is a preponderance of evidence to show that government will not provide people being vaccinated with a list of the vaccine ingredients and possible negative side effects before they are vaccinated. Most of the public will not know this flu vaccine contains thimerosal mercury.
Vawter submitted an Order to force the government to publish vaccine ingredients and side effects, and to give this information to everyone who takes a flu vaccine, and do so at least 3 days prior to their vaccination. A denial of this order would violate Plaintiff’s rights to demand the government obey the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution by requiring it to engage in freedom of speech. The First Amendment not only allows a citizen to have freedom of speech himself, but it allows a citizen to demand his government engage in freedom of speech when it is promoting the use of such as these vaccinations to the public.
The government proclamation stating a person cannot sue for any damages he receives from the flu vaccine, completely bypasses the congress and the court system in violation of the Seventh Amendment of the Constitution which grants the right to sue to recover for damages.
Vawter submitted an Order to deem unconstitutional any proclamation, rule or similar law that forbids people from suing for damages resulting from the
vaccines of 2009 and 2010.
