“A new NASA study says that an increase in Antarctic snow accumulation
that began 10,000 years ago is currently adding enough ice to the
continent to outweigh the increased losses from its thinning glaciers.
The research challenges the conclusions of other studies, including the
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) 2013 report, which
says that Antarctica is overall losing land ice.
According to the new analysis of satellite data, the Antarctic ice sheet
showed a net gain of 112 billion tons of ice a year from 1992 to 2001.
We are now experiencing some pretty ordinary weather which must be doing terrible damage to the crop season this year. You may have noticed some videos that I put up on Global Cooling. Today I came across this guy and others on Youtube who present a convincing case for the opposite to Global warming. Perhaps it would be prudent to have a viewing and at least put it in the back of your mind as 2018 is not far way when this cooling period is expected to really bit and last until about 2031 based on all the historical cycles.
Please take the time to view this video and a host of others., We will take a closer look at this topic and if I can find a suitable speaker we will have some meetings on the subject to explore this topic and the implications for living in such a hostile environment where the food chain is likely to suffer.
We would like to thank Moray King for his recent lecture at the recent ENERGY AND SCIENCE Conference in Idaho USA. For years he has been developinbg his theories in what maybe actually powering a car when claims are made to ‘RUN A CAR ON WATER’. Indeed there are still plenty of mysteries to solve which we are still investigating. Moray King has some interesting and helpful resources so I am putting up some of the links as they are worth studying. I trust this will be helpful to all researchers out there too.
It is clear that life on Earth depends on the unusual structure and anomalous nature of liquid water. Organisms consist mostly of liquid water. This water performs many functions and it can never be considered simply as an inert diluent; it transports, lubricates, reacts, stabilizes, signals, structures and partitions.
Turnbull, by all accounts, was an enthusiastic participant, and was particularly excited by solar towers and molten salt storage. “There is a real opportunity there, with that technology, to generate baseload power from solar energy – something of a holy grail.” CLICK HERER TO READ WHOLE ARTICLE
Bunker Roy decided to give up his life of privilege and wealth to help some of India’s poorest communities.
His experience digging wells in rural villages gave him the idea to establish a training college to help communities use technology to become self-sufficient.
The Barefoot College has given thousands of rural men and women the skills and knowledge to make significant changes to their lives such as installing new methods of water collection or generating solar power.
SunCrowd helps communities run local bulk-buy campaigns to make rooftop solar and storage easy and affordable. Our unique launch events, pop-up shops and personal consultations remove the decision-making complexity and confusion associated with these new energy technologies, whilst using our collective purchasing power to lower prices.
All-Energy Australia is Australia’s biggest and highest quality clean and renewable energy conference. Free to attend, the conference features over 150 industry speakers across 7 session streams over two days, attracting over 3500 delegates each year.
In 2016 our conference agenda will focus around the core themes of energy storage, the emerging smart grid, and energy efficiency, offering unparalleled content in all three areas.
Innovation will also be at the fore of discussion – exploring cutting edge local and global technology developments. Growing investment in the industry is also at the top of discussion, featuring the most major local project updates, high level opportunities for networking and discussion around fostering investment in Australian renewable and clean energy technologies and projects.
All-Energy 2016 again boasts the sector’s most comprehensive solar energy centred conference program, including the Clean Energy Council’s CPD accredited Professional Development day and ATRAA program.
According to a new book, trees and other plants have feelings and can talk to each other.
Peter Wohlleban is a forest ranger from Germany who has introduced some ground breaking changes in the way forests are managed in that country.
His book The Hidden Life of Trees has become a global best seller and has been translated into 19 languages. Tim Flannery has written the foreword in which he says “opening this book, you are about to enter a wonderland.”
