An insightful presentation showing how it is possible to have excess power when running even a conventional electric motor/ generator, running it self which we were all taught was not possible. From Peter Campbell: Electric motor – graphs from companies (in Lindemann’s second movie) show that the torque is about 6 * as much as the “100% rated” value at zero speed, so if get rid of Back-EMF can get about 6 times the amount of energy out of the motor at speed, and electric motors already 5-6 times as efficient as engine in Australian family car.
