SUNSPOT ACTIVITY IN 2012 OUT BY 20 TIMES

This youtube clip is worth keeping in mind and cross checking as it looks like 2012 maybe a most interesting year.

PKC says – Although I agree 2012 will be interesting, I doubt it’s likely to be because of this. Fox is hardly the most reliable “news” station, and the speaker, although an expert on string theory, is straying outside his field here. We still don’t know enough about the sun to make accurate predictions like this (i.e. super high sunspot activity in 2012), and, in fact, the most up-to-date predictions from NASA suggest that (1) the solar maxima is going to be in 2013-2014, not 2012, and that, if anything, it’s likely to be much weaker than the previous couple (backed up by the fact our solar minima currently is very low & lasting longer than usual). Also, the solar activity period varies drastically between 8 & 20 years; it’s not set at 11 years as this presentation suggests. See this link for more information.
